• Agdez & The Draa Valley: After descending the mountains, we reach Agdez, where the Draa Valley palmery begins. Stretching over 190 km, this lush oasis is lined with ancient villages and date palms. You will visit the famous Kasbah Tamnougalt, the valley’s most iconic fortress.

• Zagora: We arrive at this historic administrative center, famous for the legendary “Tombouctou 52 days” sign. After lunch in town, we continue south to explore the cradle of the Saadian dynasty.

• Tamegroute & Tinfou Dunes: Just 18 km from Zagora, we visit Tamegroute, home to a 17th-century Quranic library of precious manuscripts (closed Saturdays) and unique green pottery workshops. We then reach the Tinfou Dunes, where you can enjoy a camel ride or a walk across the golden sand hills.

• Return: We depart the dunes by mid-afternoon, traveling back through the valley to arrive in Ouarzazate by 6:00 PM.

FYI: The Zagora & Draa Valley Day tour is the only Morocco day trip that allows you to truly taste the desert atmosphere when time is short.
