Morocco Short Tours:

Day 1: Ouarzazate - Boutaghrar - Dades gorges

Departure from your hotel at 8h towards Dades gorges via the palm grove of Skoura and its Kasbahs. We continue our way to reach Kelaa Mgouna, a large village located at the junction of tow valleys, Mgoun and Dades and famous for rose festival that takes place every first week end of May. From there, the track of the colourful rose valley starts by passing Berber villages of Ait said, Tourbist and Tamalout. There is a possibility to hike in the gardens along the Mgoun valley followed by a break to have tea before we continue in our 4WD to join the Glaoui’s Kasbah in Ait Youl then road that leads to Dades gorges through: colourful landscapes, beautiful Kasbahs and a great panoramic view on the “Kidney of the Atlas’ or monkeys fingers. Dinner and night in the hotel Kasbah La vallée.

Day 2: Dades gorges – Todra gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga dunes

After breakfast, we leave Dades gorge towards Tineghir to visit the old Jewish quarter, then continue to explore its palm grove which extends on 15 km, possibility to hike for 1 hour from the lake of sacred fish to the gorges where we eat lunch in a local restaurant inside the canyons. After lunch, we leave to our destination Erg Chibbi dunes by passing Tinjedad city and the village of Jorf where women looks like Ninjas thanks to their clothes until Erfoud, from her we begun a track to reach the dunes where we exchange our 4WD by camels not only to assist the sunset but also to cross the dunes and spend a night in oasis under nomadic tent and shooting stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani - Tazarine - Ouarzazate

An early wake up to assist to the sunrise on the highest dune, breakfast and ride back the camels to the hostel to have shower and meet our  driver. We head to Rissani, the first imperial city of the kingdom, and then we continue to Alnif and Tazarine for lunch. The road goes through Tansikht bridge and the highest part of Draa valley to Agdez, we fainaly arrive to Ouarzazate around 18.
