Morocco Short Tours:

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Draa valley – Tinfou – Zagora

Departure point will be in front of your chosen hotel, in the direction of Agdez, we first pass the Tizi N’tinifift at 1710 m and then the old village of Ait Saoun. We will continue along the longest valley of Morocco, the beautiful Draa through a deserted track inside the fields, to admire Kasbahs and old ksour, we assist to succession of villages before we reach Zagora, lunch in the restaurant of la Kasbah Asma hotel. In the afternoon, we first check into our hotel, a possibility to have shower before we head to the dunes of Tinfou, we will visit the Coranic library in Tamgrout with its religious books collection and assist to pottery handicrafts made by the locals, dinner and overnight in Zagora hotel.

Day 2: Zagora – Tazarine – Alnif – Merzouga

After breakfast, we start our 80km off-road discovery that leads to Tazarine through Ait Atta villages of the Anti Atlas, a halt to see the rock engravings in Ait Ouaazik before we reach Alnif for lunch. After that, we follow our way to Rissani, the capital of Sijilmassa then we cross the Erg Chibbi until we attend the dunes and from here our caravan starts by exchanging the 4WD by camels and leave to the hidden oasis where our camp is located, a memorable romantic night under the shooting stars with a typical dinner and animated by TAM TAM (drums) music players.

Day 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades – Ouarzazate

We will wake up early to appreciate the beautiful sunrise over the dunes, then we take breakfast and return back to the hostel to have shower. We recuperate our 4WD and head to Erfoud to explore fossils and places of their extractions. We continue to Tinghir and assist to the underground irrigation system near Tinejdad, lunch will be in the restaurant located between the canyons of the Todra gorges. In the afternoon, we visit the old Jewish quarter in Tinghir and leave to Kelaa Mgouna via the beautiful Dades valley, skoura palm grove and arriving to Ouarzazate at 5:30 p.m.
