This beautiful camp is situated at 7 kilometers from the last village of M’hamid, the end of the road and the limit of Moroccan civilization, once we arrive to the village, we head on the right side through a deserted landscape to reach the isolated camp of El Mezouaria. Both camels and 4WD Toyota might be our means of transport to the camp, the difference is in timing, 2 hours by camels while the 4Wd takes only 30 minutes.
The El Mezouaria Bivouac features 25 nomadic tents, 5 toilets and 5 showers with hot water thanks to an installed solar panel which ensure not only a high voltage (220V) for recharging batteries and notebooks but also keep the camp very quite. Guests of the camp can eat fresh food in the bivouac, a typical Moroccan meals like tagine with camel meat and vegetables or couscous. We can also manage plans for vegetarians.
Alcoholic drinks are available in the camp, you can also buy your own in M’hamid village.

The camp is situated at 60 kilometers from M’hamid village, in the foot of Chegaga dunes. 2 hours with 4WD only is sufficient to attend the bivouac while hikers or camels caravans takes three days.
The bivouac of Erg Chegaga features 20 spacious, nomadic tents with a capacity of 2 to 4 peaple with a maximum confort, all are equipped with, beds, mattresses, blankets and sheets, the floor is also covered with thick carpets too. The tents are handicraft made by the nomads with goats and camels hair.
The bivouac offers also 4 shared toilets and 4 showers with hot water thanks to an installed solar panel which ensure not only a high voltage (220V) for recharging batteries and notebooks but also keep the camp very quite. Instead of lamps, inside the tents, guests will use candles for lighting for more romance.
